Class 1 HGV Driver

About the role

Working Monday to Friday youll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to customer premises. This is a customer-facing role so professionalism and presentation are key. Most of the time youll be driving an EV vehicle but you may also operate standard HGV trucks when required.

You will be responsible for:

• Driving Class 1 vehicles on scheduled routes

• Physically unloading goods to the back door of trailers

• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points

• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues

• Monitoring EV systems when applicable

• Handling delivery paperwork accurately

• Following all road transport and tachograph regulations

About you

Youll need a valid Class 1 licence Driver CPC and DIGI card. Experience with customer-facing deliveries is essential along with a smart professional appearance and a positive attitude. If youre reliable safety-conscious and ready to embrace EV technology youll fit right in.
