Job Summary

Job Title: Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly (M13BI4)- (1462695)

Location: Wichita KS

Duration: 6 months

Description :

Level B1. Use and interpret drawings inspection manuals and specifications shop mathematics precision measuring instruments specialized inspection machines tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.2. Experience working with Quality Management System Policies andProcedures3. Working knowledge of Company Policies Procedures and Specifications4. Overall working knowledge of production processes5. Contact other company organizations or customer representatives as required to coordinate and accomplish work assignments.6. Good communication skills written and verbal7. Good computing skills8. Operate testing machines calculate and record results9. Maintain certifications as required10. Plan own sequence of operations11. Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies12. Verify that tools are qualified13. Prepare and maintain Quality records14. Work across equivalent or lower level Inspector job codes asrequired15. Cross-train in equivalent level Assembly Composite Metals Process and Systems/Payload Structures Mechanic classifications

Responsibilities

M13 Level B

  • Use and interpret drawings inspection manuals and specifications shop mathematics precision measuring instruments specialized inspection machines tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments
  • Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures
  • Working knowledge of Company Policies Procedures and Specifications
  • Overall working knowledge of production processes
  • Good communication skills written and verbal
  • Good computing skills
  • Maintain certifications as required
  • Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies
  • Verify that tools are qualified
  • Prepare and maintain Quality records
  • Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required

Qualifications Required:

  • Prompt and on time daily
  • Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment
  • Must be available to work any shift- 1st 2nd and 3rd shift operations
  • Available for periods of heavy overtime
  • 5 years experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection
  • Blueprint reading experience
  • MS Office and SAP experience
  • Experience writing NCRs (Tags)

Preferred:

  • SAP experience
  • Previous Spirit or Boeing experience
  • Boeing 737 Airframe/Fuselage Experience
