Job Summary

Job Title : Java Solutions Architect (Spring Boot AWS Kafka Healthcare Domain)

Location: Austin TX (Hybrid - Local candidates Only)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Mandatory Qualifications

Strong experience with Java EE Spring Boot and microservices frameworks
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
Proficiency in API design and integration including REST and GraphQL
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems including Kafka and RabbitMQ
Exposure to serverless computing and cloud-native services
Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to model complex business domains

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana and the ELK stack
Familiarity with performance tuning and high-availability strategies
Understanding of cloud cost optimization practices
Healthcare industry experience
Fundamental understanding of Information Management principles IT processes SDLC and enterprise architecture and technologies
Strong consulting and facilitation skills
Customer-focused communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
Proactive leadership style self-starter mindset and strong attention to detail
Relevant cloud certifications such as:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
Experience working with Texas or other state eligibility systems

Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain scalable cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Build and integrate secure high-performing APIs to support enterprise applications
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using DevOps best practices
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code to support cloud environments
Ensure application security reliability and performance across distributed systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to model business domains using DDD principles
Implement event-driven solutions leveraging messaging and streaming platforms
Support monitoring observability and troubleshooting of production systems
Contribute to cloud cost optimization performance tuning and high-availability planning
Provide technical guidance and collaborate with stakeholders in a consultative customer-focused manner
