Job Title : Java Solutions Architect (Spring Boot AWS Kafka Healthcare Domain)
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid - Local candidates Only)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications - Strong experience with Java EE Spring Boot and microservices frameworks
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in API design and integration including REST and GraphQL
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems including Kafka and RabbitMQ
- Exposure to serverless computing and cloud-native services
- Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to model complex business domains
Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana and the ELK stack
- Familiarity with performance tuning and high-availability strategies
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization practices
- Healthcare industry experience
- Fundamental understanding of Information Management principles IT processes SDLC and enterprise architecture and technologies
- Strong consulting and facilitation skills
- Customer-focused communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
- Proactive leadership style self-starter mindset and strong attention to detail
- Relevant cloud certifications such as:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Experience working with Texas or other state eligibility systems
Responsibilities - Design develop and maintain scalable cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and integrate secure high-performing APIs to support enterprise applications
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using DevOps best practices
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code to support cloud environments
- Ensure application security reliability and performance across distributed systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to model business domains using DDD principles
- Implement event-driven solutions leveraging messaging and streaming platforms
- Support monitoring observability and troubleshooting of production systems
- Contribute to cloud cost optimization performance tuning and high-availability planning
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with stakeholders in a consultative customer-focused manner
