Java Solutions Architect (Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka – Healthcare Domain)

Job Title : Java Solutions Architect (Spring Boot AWS Kafka Healthcare Domain)

Location: Austin TX (Hybrid - Local candidates Only)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Strong experience with Java EE Spring Boot and microservices frameworks
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in API design and integration including REST and GraphQL
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems including Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Exposure to serverless computing and cloud-native services
• Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to model complex business domains

• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana and the ELK stack
• Familiarity with performance tuning and high-availability strategies
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization practices
• Healthcare industry experience
• Fundamental understanding of Information Management principles IT processes SDLC and enterprise architecture and technologies
• Strong consulting and facilitation skills
• Customer-focused communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
• Proactive leadership style self-starter mindset and strong attention to detail
• Relevant cloud certifications such as:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Experience working with Texas or other state eligibility systems

• Design develop and maintain scalable cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and integrate secure high-performing APIs to support enterprise applications
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using DevOps best practices
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code to support cloud environments
• Ensure application security reliability and performance across distributed systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to model business domains using DDD principles
• Implement event-driven solutions leveraging messaging and streaming platforms
• Support monitoring observability and troubleshooting of production systems
• Contribute to cloud cost optimization performance tuning and high-availability planning
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with stakeholders in a consultative customer-focused manner
