RCDD Consultant/ Facilities Infrastructure Engineer/Consultant/ Telecommunications Engineer

Pay $45 to 50/hr
As a Facilities Infrastructure Engineer/Consultant within our Branch Services practice you will lead the development of FIT designs and detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for customer sites on behalf of client. You will also oversee and coordinate work performed by partner resources and subcontractors to ensure delivery excellence and adherence to project standards.
Responsibilities:
- Support account and sales teams through customer interviews to identify capabilities and recommend products partners and implementation methodologies
- Lead and coordinate workshops to showcase multiple solutions and manufacturer options for Structured Cabling Pathways Site Assessments UPS status and related systems
- Assist engagement teams with complex rollout projects and perform on-site evaluations to collect data and generate estimates
- Engage appropriate partners for specific project needs and develop budgetary labor and material estimates guiding sales teams in partner and manufacturer selection
- Review partner proposals to ensure completeness and competitiveness
- Maintain familiarity with industry standards and best practices referenced by customers or end users and recommend applicable standards for areas such as horizontal cabling grounding and bonding and labeling
- Design simple cable systems and coordinate with partners for complex cabling designs
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and secure optimal cost and availability to meet project schedules
- Recommend suitable substitutions to address deadlines or supply chain constraints
- Stay current on new product developments and end-of-life updates from structured cabling manufacturers and other partners relevant to the FIT practice
- Oversee ongoing projects by supporting PMO through partner performance review materials acquisition and deliverables assessment at project completion
- Serve as subject matter expert and point-of-contact for multiple project managers overseeing multi-site and single-site installations to assist PMO in project implementation
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to verify the legality of accepting projects that require licensing subcontracting or special permissions in various states and jurisdictions
- Review and manage partner qualifications performance and status; assist with onboarding installers per customer requests and negotiate with partners when needed
- Register projects with manufacturers to secure optimal materials pricing for installations
- Perform product reviews for specific applications and attend training sessions to maintain certification and extend warranties for customers
- Coordinate project certifications and registrations ensuring meets obligations to OEMs by maintaining current certifications and participating in manufacturer training programs as required
Qualifications:
- BICSI RCDD DCDC OSP certifications or relevant experience
- State Licenses for Low Voltage or Electrical a plus
- Deep knowledge of data center cabling and pathway solutions for both enterprise and AI environments as well as premise cabling and pathway systems
- Familiar with power and cooling methods capabilities and limitations in both data center and edge applications
- CAD or VISIO capabilities
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Up to 50% travel regionally
