Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and medical history reviews.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary team settings.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems.
- Stay current with medical research and advances in healthcare practices through continuous education.
- Participate in community outreach programs and health screenings.
- Adhere to healthcare regulations and ensure the highest standards of care.
- Assist in training and mentoring medical students and residents.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care processes.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of residency in a relevant specialty.
- Board certification in the respective field of practice.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Georgia.
- Strong clinical skills with demonstrated experience in diagnosing and managing patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills fostering strong patient relationships.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient-first mentality.
- Experience with electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotation as needed.
