Job Summary
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic definition and maintenance of the central database and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
You will play a key role in building scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel while also integrating with e-commerce ecosystems like Shopify.

Application Development: Design build and maintain efficient reusable and reliable PHP code using the Laravel framework.
API Integration: Develop and consume complex GraphQL and RESTful APIs to connect your application with various third-party services.
Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for performance and scalability.
E-commerce Integration: Build and maintain integrations with Shopify (via Shopify API/Webhooks) or other e-commerce platforms.
Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate these issues.
Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Code Quality: Implement unit testing and automated testing scripts to ensure code robustness.
Requirements
Technical Requirements
Core PHP: 35 years of solid experience in PHP development.
Laravel Framework: Deep understanding of Laravels ecosystem (Eloquent Blade Middleware Service Providers Queues and Jobs).
GraphQL: Proven experience building or consuming GraphQL APIs (experience with Lighthouse or similar Laravel-GraphQL libraries is a plus).
Database: Strong knowledge of SQL databases and optimization techniques.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (GitFlow Pull Requests).
Modern Tools: Experience with Docker Redis and cloud services (AWS/DigitalOcean) is highly desirable.
Added Advantage
Shopify Ecosystem: Experience building Shopify Private or Public Apps using the Shopify API and App Bridge.
E-commerce Logic: Familiarity with inventory management payment gateway integrations (Stripe/PayPal) and order processing workflows.
Frontend Basics: A working knowledge of or React to better collaborate with the frontend team.
Architecture: Experience with Microservices or Event-Driven Architecture.
