We are seeking motivated Shunter / Shifter to join our teams across Austria.
Minimum Age: 18 years
Weekly Working Hours: 38.5 hours
Work Schedule: Shift-based (day/night weekdays weekends public holidays)
During Training salary: Minimum 2659.63 gross /month
After Training salary: Minimum 2848.52 gross / monthWorking Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Move assemble and position railway wagons
- Couple and uncouple rolling stock safely
- Communicate with teams via radio
- Follow railway safety regulations
- Identify and report equipment or wagon defects
- Assist locomotive drivers during yard operations
Requirements
- Minimum secondary education
- German language proficiency at B2 level
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform outdoors and physically demanding work
- Good hearing neither color blind nor night blind (glasses/contact lenses max. 5 or -8)
- Driving license B is an advantage (due to the journey to the shunting yards)
