Responsibilities
We are seeking a customer-focused representative who is committed to delivering high-quality service support through telephone and live chat interactions. As a key point of contact the Representative responds to questions and concerns from both internal and external customers while providing accurate timely assistance. This role also supports basic policy changes and performs entry-level underwriting activities contributing to efficient and high-quality service operations.

Qualifications
What Youll Do:
Assist internal and external customers by phone or live chat answering questions and addressing concerns in a clear friendly and professional manner.
Act as an advocate for the customer by listening carefully understanding their needs and working to provide helpful solutions.
Take ownership of each customer interaction and follow through until the issue is fully resolved including completing any necessary follow-up.
Complete basic policy updates and underwriting-related tasks within assigned guidelines and authority levels.
Review and gather required documents to ensure information is accurate and forward items to the appropriate teams when needed.
Treat every customer with respect and care while performing all duties in alignment with company values and information protection standards.
What Youll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED required college coursework a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Typing speed of 25 WPM with 90% accuracy required.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word Outlook & Excel
- Maintains a working knowledge of the Manual of Rates Rules and Procedures
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain organize and present information
- Ability to handle multiple tasks as assigned.
- Ability to interpret basic insurance coverage.
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
