Job Summary

Description

The Digital Workplace Architect is responsible for the end-to-end architecture of the digital workplace ecosystem covering endpoint hardware operating systems key productivity applications and backend management platforms. This role proactively drives modernization ensures alignment with enterprise strategy and enhances user experience through continuous feedback collection and improvement initiatives. The architect anticipates future workplace needs evaluates emerging technologies and ensures cohesive integration across all layers of the digital workplace stack. By collaborating with cross-functional teams the role ensures that digital workplace services are secure scalable and aligned with business objectives.

Key job areas of responsibilities

Strategy & Roadmap
Define and evolve the full-stack digital workplace architecture including endpoint hardware OS platforms applications and backend systems.
Align architectural decisions with enterprise IT strategy cybersecurity standards and business goals.
Anticipate future workplace needs and proactively initiate strategic improvements and technology evaluations.

Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with infrastructure application security and business teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution.
Actively engage with end users and business stakeholders to collect feedback and translate needs into architectural enhancements.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment and governance of digital workplace initiatives.

Service Operations & Performance Management
Oversee performance scalability and reliability across endpoint devices operating systems applications and backend platforms.
Ensure adherence to enterprise standards automation practices and cybersecurity policies.
Monitor service metrics and proactively address architectural gaps and risks.

Innovation and User Experience
Lead innovation efforts across the digital workplace stack evaluating emerging technologies and modern solutions.
Champion user-centric design by collecting feedback conducting usability assessments and driving continuous improvement.
Promote automation and simplification to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

Education / Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology Computer Science Systems Engineering or a related field.
Professional certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g. TOGAF) Microsoft 365 or endpoint management platforms (e.g. Intune SCCM) are highly desirable.
Additional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g. CISSP CISM) or IT service management (e.g. ITIL) are a strong advantage.

Experience

Minimum 710 years of progressive experience in IT architecture digital workplace strategy or infrastructure leadership roles.
Proven track record in designing and implementing full-stack architecture across endpoint hardware operating systems applications and backend platforms.
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives managing complex technology environments and driving enterprise modernization.
Experience in collecting and analyzing user feedback translating insights into actionable improvements.
Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Microsoft 365 Intune SCCM ServiceNow and collaboration platforms.
Background in cybersecurity automation and user experience design is a strong advantage.

Key Skills and Knowledge

Deep understanding of endpoint hardware operating systems productivity applications and backend management platforms.
Expertise in enterprise architecture cybersecurity principles and automation frameworks.
Strong communication stakeholder engagement and strategic planning skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Intune SCCM M365 Admin Center and collaboration platforms.
AI: Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-driven tools to enhance process efficiency decision-making and user support.
