Job Summary

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Back Office Business Analyst with strong accounting expertise and hands-on experience configuring Accounting Manager in Endur. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of accounting processes within the energy trading sectorpreferably natural gasand be able to work independently on system design configuration and testing.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design configuration and testing of Accounting Manager modules within the Endur ETRM system.
Collaborate with accounting back-office and IT teams to gather requirements and implement system solutions that align with business needs.
Support accounting workflows related to inventory management including WACOG (Weighted Average Cost of Gas) and other relevant calculations.
Perform system analysis and troubleshoot issues ensuring accurate financial reporting and system integrity.
Provide subject matter expertise on accounting processes and recommend best practices for system enhancements and process optimization.
Work independently to deliver project milestones while coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Support user training documentation and post-implementation reviews to ensure smooth adoption of system changes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Information Systems or related field.
Strong accounting background with proven experience in energy trading back-office operations.
Hands-on experience configuring Accounting Manager in Endur with a preference for natural gas commodities.
Ability to work independently to design configure and test system functionalities.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

Experience with inventory accounting processes such as WACOG and other cost accounting methodologies.
Familiarity with ETRM systems beyond Endur and multi-commodity environments.
Knowledge of energy trading financial reporting settlements and reconciliation workflows.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
