Your Tasks
- In the STACKIT Control Plane Platform Team you are primarily responsible for building the STACKIT API Platform. Your goal is to enable internal stakeholders to securely publish and consume APIs by developing and providing features such as rate limiting authentication quota enforcement and monitoring.
- You continuously design and improve our software doing so you always keep availability resilience scalability and performance in mind.
- You act as a technical sparring partner for your colleagues. Through code reviews and the evaluation of architectural proposals you ensure the future-proofing of our solutions.
- You implement secure and thoroughly tested code and maintain our existing software stack.
- You automate operational tasks wherever possible and ensure that our software scales efficiently with growing requirements.
Your Profile
- You have already been significantly involved in the development of complex software systems and bring in-depth knowledge of distributed system architecture.
- You are proficient in backend development - ideally with Go but experience in Java or Kotlin is also welcome.
- Working with REST and gRPC is part of your daily routine.
- You have already gained experience with service meshes. Ideally you are also familiar with API proxies like Envoy.
- You are a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge. You take pleasure in supporting other developers and growing together within the team.
