Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Security Risk Manager to establish maintain and evolve the security risk governance and assurance framework for a newly awarded Victorian government portfolio. This role plays a vital part in supporting safe compliant and well-coordinated security outcomes across a diverse and sensitive property portfolio.
Reporting to senior contract leadership you will work collaboratively with BGIS teams contracted security partners and government stakeholders to ensure security services align with contractual obligations risk controls and protective security expectations. The role balances strategic oversight with practical guidance supporting consistency clarity and confidence across all security operations.
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure detail-aware values collaboration and clear communication and is motivated by creating safe well-governed environments for people and places.

This position is based in the Melbourne CBD close to public transport with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Core business hours apply with flexibility around start and finish times. Occasional site visits across the CBD and ad hoc additional hours may be required as operational needs arise.
