Position Description
The Testing Coordinator Cybersecurity Assessmentswill supporta dynamic and exciting cybersecurity program for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manageincoming and active ServiceNow tickets related tocurrent cybersecurity operations assessments.
- Engage with system owners to coordinate remediation activities including scheduling required meetings and organizing system tests tovalidateimplemented fixes and ensure compliance with security requirements.
- Coordinate ticket fulfillment timelines to meet or exceed defined SLAs and customer expectations.
- Escalate workflow blockers or inconsistencies toappropriate stakeholdersProgram Manager.
- Proactively resolve or route misclassified or incomplete tickets for correction to ensure continuity of service.
- Collaborate with the team to review SLA compliance reports backlog risks ona regularcadence.
- Support the development of training materials and user guides as needed.
- Gather analyze and compile metrics for inclusion in the weekly deliverable.
- Collect andconsolidatestatistical data for incorporation into the weekly deliverable.
- Ensurealldeliverablesaresubmittedon time and in compliance with contract requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or higherinInformation Technology Cybersecurity or a related field equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation.
- Experience with SLA monitoring reporting andissueescalation protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and subject matter experts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with creating dashboards withinSNOWa plus.
- Strong communicationskills including stakeholder updates and documentation creation.
- Proficiencywith documentation tools and software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Acrobat documentmanagement systems).
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and subject matter experts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in technical writing and documentation.
