FTE: 1.0 Shift: Days Schedule: Mon-Fri

Annual Salary: $282000 with Expected salary range of $345k-$375k

Additional Job Details:

Position is for a full-time outpatient/inpatient role
Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Physiatrist will provide support to our Level 1 Polytrauma Rehab unit and provide outpatient care.
The candidate will also see patients with rehab issues from other MultiCare providers which include our outpatient therapy team.
Issues may include stroke spinal cord injury brain injury and amputation among other diagnoses.
Ability to perform Botox injections is preferred but coaching is also available.
No outpatient narcotic management.
Clinic is well staffed with support/MAs.
Duties include 1:6 light call from home.
Candidate must be collegial and complete documentation within 24 hours.

Position Summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced BC/BE Adult Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physiatrist to join our well-established thriving and comprehensive practice. Responsibilities

Provide PM&R Consults for patients with complex rehabilitation needs or might be candidates for the inpatient rehab program
Participate in one week of inpatient rehabilitation call coverage every sixth week at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup WA
Follow 8-12 patients per day providing input on spinal cord injury brain injury stroke multiple trauma neurogenic bowel/bladder skin integrity amputation and other complex medical rehab cases
Collaborate with inpatient Rehabilitation Psychology inpatient Neuropsychology inpatient adaptive driving program dedicated outpatient Rehabilitation Nursing Clinic and community outreach programs for TBI stroke and SCI populations

Requirements

Board certified/eligible at time of employment
Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
DEA NPI & prescriptive authority
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package including competitive salary medical dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $282000.00 - $282000.00 USD. However pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants including but not limited to: skill set level of experience and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.
