Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager Payments / Cards to lead the design delivery and support of payment and card-based technology solutions. The role involves managing technical teams driving end-to-end delivery of payment systems and ensuring solutions are secure scalable and compliant with banking and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage technical teams delivering payments and card platform solutions
Translate business requirements into technical designs and delivery plans
Oversee end-to-end project delivery including scope timeline quality and budget
Collaborate with business product architecture and vendor teams
Drive solution design discussions across payments cards integrations and channels
Ensure compliance with security regulatory and banking standards (PCI-DSS data protection)
Review solution architecture code quality and technical deliverables
Identify and manage risks dependencies and technical issues with timely escalation
Support system upgrades enhancements and production stability
Mentor and guide technical team members to build strong in-house capability
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
1015 years of IT experience with strong exposure to payments and card systems
Proven experience managing technical teams and delivering complex banking solutions
Strong understanding of payment processing card lifecycle and transaction flows
Experience with Agile / SDLC delivery models
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel and drive execution
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field
