The Senior Manager contributes to the overall success of theTime & AttendanceTechnologyinglobally ensuring specific individual goals plans initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the teams business strategies and all activities conducted are compliant with governing regulations internalpoliciesand procedures.

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships andleveragebroader Bank relationships.
Provide highly specialized technical leadership in the analysis design development and support of cost-effective online HR management and decision supportsystemswithinWorkforce Software.
The incumbentis responsible forthe resolution of complex business problems and must work under tight deadlines conflictingprioritiesand changing requirements.This includes managing multiple small projectsparticipatinginand/or managing specific sections of large projects and providing ongoing support to all assigned unitsglobally(utilizingAgile methodologies where applicable).
Independently resolve complex multi-faceted problems to meetthe businessneeds by applying their HR and technological knowledge to the design of methodologies models and/or systems solutions.This includes conducting research and analysisparticipateindefiningbusinessrequirements and processesparticipatingin the reengineering of the HR businessprocessand liaising with the users.
Manage multiple small HR technology projects and/or manage specific sections of large projects to implement technology solutionsforHR business problems.This involves planning and scheduling resources developing detailed projectplansandmonitoringprogress against plannedobjectives.
Participate in theWorkforce Softwaresystems implementation process by interpreting business requirements into systems analysistechnical specificationdocumenting detailed reporting requirements configuration of HR vendor software and providing post-implementation support.
Participate in the review of Quality Assurance (QA) test strategies for assigned projects/initiatives to ensure the planned testing is comprehensive and consistent with the business requirements.Support QA testing by analyzing defects to provide clarification of technical specificationsand defect resolution.
Continuallyacquireand enhance knowledge of the Divisions business strategies and policies risk management practices and methodologies product offerings financial markets financial instruments regulatory requirements Back Office processes and rapidly changing technology to be able to provide effective business solutions and services to the end user business lines.
Understand how the Banks risk appetite andriskculture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areasin accordance withScotiabanks Values its Code ofConductand the Global Sales Principles while ensuring the adequacy adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational compliance AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this roleWedlove to work with you if you have:
3-5years combinedBusiness Analyst background includingconfiguration lead experience
Working knowledge ofHRbusiness process.
Creative self-starting resultsorientedand highly motivated individual with very good analytical skillsin order toapply this knowledge to independently resolve complex business problems.
Proven interpersonalcommunicationand negotiation skillsin order tobuild consensus and obtain cooperation from both users and senior management. These skills along with the incumbentsgood timemanagement and organizational skills will allow the incumbent to effectively manage small projects while planning and scheduling resources within those projects tooptimizeproductivity.
Must havea very goodunderstanding of current IT practices systems development techniques including requirements specification and testing methodologies real time analytical and formal modellingtoolsand keep current with rapidly changing technology.
A recognized under-graduate degree incomputer sciencemathematicsengineeringor a related discipline along with 4 to 6 years of practicalexperienceisrequired.
