What You Get to Do In This Role:
The ITAM Solution Consultantis a technical consultantwiththe advanced ability todevelop position andprovideproduct-specificsolutions during sales cycles that help achieve sales goals for an assigned territory (territory will be specific to a particular industry vertical i.e. life science healthcare provider healthcare payer).
A representative list of core responsibilities of the ITAM Solution Consultant are listed below:
Serve as a thought leader on IT Asset Management (inclusive of hardware asset management software asset management cloud cost management) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for ServiceNow
Develop and maintain strong alignment with Product Management and Engineering teams to provide and advocate for product enhancements roadmap additions and to relay feedback from the field & customers
Create and own programs that enable / train Solution Consultants and Sellers to demonstrate the value of ITAM and EAM
Create and own efforts to generate and mature ITAM and EAM pipeline for customers (e.g. webinars in person events workshops)
Contribute to and maintain a showcase of ITAM solutions created on the ServiceNow platform
Assist the sales personnel in qualification of customer needs (discovery) and creation of business cases (i.e. business value assessments that help calculate measurable value for customers)
Demonstrate solutions - both standard and tailored to successfully secure the technical win
Respond to requests for information / proposal (RFIs RFPs) in a fashion that successfully secures the technical win
Scope and deliver Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospects as appropriate
Support Marketing events user conferences trade shows webinars summits practitioner workshops
Stay current on competitive analysis and on understanding of how to best position ServiceNow solution to ensure we keep ahead of opportunities obstacles and challenges
Understand business and technical problems addressed by the product including key regulations business drivers evolving business needs etc.
Up to 20% travel require
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role we need someone who has the following
10 years of relevant professional post-collegiate experience 5 of which must be technical hands on experience with the ServiceNow ITAM product suite or key competitor software & hardware asset management products
Exceptional communication and presentation skills including technical and business concepts associated with optimizing/streamlining costs
Ability to forge strong business relationships and connect with personnel at the staff through C-level (at customer accounts as well as with individuals within the ServiceNow ecosystem)
Strong presales experience and mastery of the sales process OR strong ServiceNow implementation experience (as an implementation partner / vendor or customer)
Experience working with or in healthcare payer provider or life science organizations
Located in Eastern or Central time zones with willingness to support occasional customer interactions in the Pacific Time Zone India Standard Time Zone and Central European Time Zone
For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $126375 to $208425 plus equity (when applicable) variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. We also offer health plans including flexible spending accounts a 401(k) Plan with company match ESPP matching donations a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.
Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
