The Headlines:

In the role ofLine Lead -Brewingworking inToronto ON you will be part of theBrewingTeam.You will independently lead and coach a 24-hour operation successfully implementing World Class strategies and principles to deliver great tastingbeerto our Packaging Line Lead position is supported by aProcess Leadwho is responsible for data collection and continuous improvement and a Maintenance Lead responsible for executing the asset care strategy for the malthouse.

The Line Lead position reports directly to theDirector of Brewingand is a member of theBrewingLeadership Team helping todevelopthe long-term goals and strategies for theBrewing will leadBrewingoperations towards the vision of a high-performance team culture and drivechange managementinitiatives to continually improve both plant andprocess operationsto meet World Class Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully lead a 24-hour production operation in all aspects safety quality cost production and morale.
  • Successfully manage a diverse workforce of hourly individuals providing coaching feedback accountability and direction.
  • Developand lead execution of the 90-day plan to address losses andbuildcapability.
  • Lead team to deliver departmental KPIs the right way by driving World Class Supply Chain principles such as centerlines changeovers defect handling and clean-inspect-lubrication systems.
  • Developand maintain a staffing plan for your line to ensure all business needs are met while adhering to budget.
  • Coordinatechange managementacross the line creating a culture ofengagementand flexibility.
  • Collaborate with peers and cross-functional groups on additional projects to drive the long-termBrewingstrategy.

The Other Qualifications:

  • Thorough practical and theoretical knowledge of key functions inbrewinge.g. raw material storage and transferfermentation yeast management and propagationfiltration and blending.
  • Thorough knowledge of the interrelationships between theBrewing Packaging Supply Chain Quality Services and Maintenance departments as it relates to the product movement andproduction scheduling.
  • Familiarity withprocess controlsystems computerized dataloggingsystems and production database operationsmechanical systemsdynamics and basic electrical includes the components of the various systems such as pumps valves timers relays drives fans etc. Proficient in the use of situational and systemic problem-solving methodologies (5 Whys FFAs RCAs etc.)
  • Good planning and organizing skills.
  • Business acumen and basic strategic thinking to anticipate and respond to future needs of the organization.
  • Awareness of OSHA regulations GMP State Agricultural practices/policies TTB regulations plantsafety regulations FDA guidelines for foodplant operationsand environmental regulations regarding manufacturing brewery operations.
  • Possesses basic machinery/systemtechnical troubleshootingskills and knowledge of computerizedmaintenance management planning and scheduling techniques associated with assetcare management.
  • Exhibits the flexibility needed to respond to frequent changes in production requirements and/or systems and equipment failures.
  • Understands and can apply the principles and practices of World Class Manufacturing and Molson Coors World Class Supply Chain 2.0.
  • Understanding of the budgeting process and basic financial metrics used within Molson Coors.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated capability ofSAP.
  • BS or BA degree inBrewingTechnology Biology Microbiology Food Science Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

Job Posting Total RewardsOfferings: $100400.00 - $131800.00 (posting salary range) 13% target short term incentive $11000 on average spent on benefits per employee including but not limited to health dental vision retirement with above market employer match wellness incentives and EAP paid time off (including holidays vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
