Strategy& is PwCs global strategy consulting business. We combine boardlevel strategic insight with the delivery scale of the PwC network to help clients create and realise valuefrom growth strategy through to M&A and transformation. Our Technology sector team advises leading corporates and technology investors on the strategic decisions that matter most.

As a Director youll have the platform to shape client agendas originate work and lead multidisciplinary teams that take strategies from thesis to realised value.

About the role

In our Technology team you will lead client engagements across application and infrastructure software IT services and techenabled services. You will advise corporate and investor clients on growth value creation and Deals. Typical work includes corporate strategy market entry pricing commercial excellence product optimisation and buy and sellside commercial diligence.

Demand is accelerating as AI cloud data and platform economics reshape business models and investment theses. We help clients navigate these shifts with practical datadriven strategies.

You would be joining a fast growing market leading team with high aspirations for rapid expansion.

What your days will look like:

  • Client leadership: serve as a trusted adviser to Csuite and investor clients; shape problem statements craft clear recommendations and drive client decisionmaking
  • Project delivery: lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver highquality engagements on time and on budget from hypothesis to execution
  • Business development: originate and develop client opportunities; create proposals and POVs; contribute to annual sales targets and account plans
  • Deals expertise: lead buy and sellside commercial diligence; articulate market theses customer insights competitive dynamics and valuecreation levers
  • Thought leadership: develop actionable points of view on sector trends (e.g. AI/ML cybersecurity data platforms SaaS monetisation); contribute to external eminence
  • People and practice: coach and develop team members; foster an inclusive highperformance culture; contribute to recruiting and practice development

This role is for you if:

  • Strategy experience: significant experience at a toptier strategy firm or inhouse strategy leadership within a corporate in the technology sector
  • Technology domain: deep exposure to at least one of: application software/SaaS infrastructure software IT services/managed services or techenabled services
  • SaaS fluency: comfort with SaaS metrics (ARR NRR CAC LTV expansion cohort analysis) and pricing/packaging strategies
  • Deals exposure: track record in commercial diligence and valuecreation planning for corporates or financial sponsors
  • Team leadership: proven experience leading multiworkstream projects and managing senior client stakeholders
  • Revenue generation / account management: track record of originating revenue and managing strategy projects

  • Structured problemsolving: hypothesisled approach; able to scope and sequence highyield work efficiently
  • Analytical rigour: direct and qualityassure quantitative and qualitative analyses (market sizing customer insights competitor dynamics business model and financial analysis)
  • Commercial acumen: translate insights into actionable valuefocused recommendations with clear financial implications
  • Communication. craft compelling narratives and executiveready materials; present confidently to boards investment committees and deal teams
  • Data and AI literacy. Understand how advanced analytics and AI are applied to commercial and operational value creation
  • Relationship building: own senior client relationships and collaborative internal networks across Strategy& and PwC
  • Revenue origination / relationship building: develop relationships that lead to selling projects with good commercial outcomes
  • Practice development: drive POVs and offerings that create demand; contribute to sales and account growth; develop a team around you
