Senior Quality Inspector
Location: Thame Oxfordshire
Salary: 40000 per annum
Industry: Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
Carry out detailed inspections of manufactured components and assemblies
Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in line with company and industry standards
Review engineering drawings specifications and quality documentation
Identify non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
Work closely with production engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvement
Maintain accurate inspection and test records
Support audits and compliance activities as required
Essential Requirements
Level 2 NDT qualification (essential)
Proven experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and inspection techniques
Experience using a range of inspection tools and measuring equipment
High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Experience in a senior or lead quality role
Knowledge of ISO quality standards
Background in precision or regulated manufacturing
