What you will do:

As an Athletic Trainer(Illinois License Required)you will

  • Work in a clinical setting as a physician extender within a University Sports Medicine Program.
  • Responsibilities include patient evaluation education rehabilitation planning vitals phlebotomy injections injury prevention treatment and equipment fitting.
  • Supports physicians during outreach events and provides athletic training services to affiliated schools per NATA guidelines.
  • Contributes to program growth through marketing educational material development and wellness event coordination.
  • Ensures patient satisfaction helps families navigate the system and collaborates with program directors and providers.

What you will need:

Minimum Education: Required:Bachelors Degree

Preferred:Masters Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education

Specify Degree(s):Athletic Training and Certification

Minimum Experience:

Required:1-2 years of previous job-related experience

Preferred:3-5 years of previous job-related experience

Licensure/Certifications:

Required:Licensed/CertifiedAthletic Trainer (ATC) and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Other:First Aid Athletic Training and Certification Phlebotomy Certification (will train if necessary

Compensation:

Pay Range: $43721.60 - $67787.20

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
