Job Summary

Freelan a leading investment firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join our team in Riyadh. As the Chief of M&A you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the companys mergers and acquisitions activities including identifying potential acquisition targets negotiating deals and managing postmerger integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the companys M&A strategy in alignment with the overall business goals and objectives

Identify potential acquisition targets and conduct thorough due diligence to evaluate their financial operational and strategic fit

Lead negotiations and deal structuring with target companies including valuation financing and other key terms

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including investment banks legal advisors and potential target companies

Oversee the integration of acquired companies ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with the companys culture and goals

Monitor and analyze market trends and industry developments to identify potential M&A opportunities

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of ongoing M&A activities

Collaborate with other departments such as finance legal and operations to ensure successful of M&A transactions

Stay uptodate with relevant laws and regulations related to M&A activities in Saudi Arabia and ensure compliance with all legal requirements

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in finance business administration or a related field; MBA preferred

Minimum of 10 years of experience in M&A with at least 5 years in a leadership role

Strong understanding of financial analysis valuation techniques and deal structuring

Proven track record of successfully completing M&A transactions in the Saudi Arabian market

Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team

Indepth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to M&A in Saudi Arabia
