Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function and support the organization’s operational and strategic objectives. The role is responsible for developing HR strategies managing employee relations overseeing recruitment ensuring compliance with Qatar Labour Law and building a positive and productive work environment.
The HR Manager acts as a trusted partner to senior management and plays a key role in workforce planning performance management and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
- Establish review and maintain HR policies procedures and systems across the organization.
- Provide HR guidance and decision support to senior management using HR metrics and reports.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as a bridge between management and employees by addressing grievances disciplinary issues and workplace concerns.
- Foster a positive professional and compliant work environment.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend corrective actions.
- Resolve conflicts through fair professional and effective mediation.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Manage the full recruitment and selection process across all departments.
- Support department-wise and division-wise manpower planning.
- Participate in interviews for management and executive-level positions.
Performance Management & Compensation
- Oversee and manage the performance appraisal system to drive accountability and high performance.
- Maintain compensation structures salary reviews and benefits programs.
- Support promotions transfers resignations and terminations in line with company policy and labor law.
Training & Development
- Identify training and development needs across departments.
- Plan and monitor training programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Qatar Labour Law company policies and employment regulations.
- Oversee employee leave management attendance disciplinary actions and end-of-service processes.
- Continuously review HR policies to reflect legal updates and best practices.
Team Leadership
- Lead guide and support the HR team.
- Ensure accurate HR documentation reporting and record management.
Authorities
- Enforce company HR policies and Qatar Labour Law.
- Make decisions related to recruitment employee relations leave approvals and HR operations.
- Manage resignations terminations and disciplinary processes in coordination with management.
Accountabilities
- Effective recruitment and retention of talent.
- Implementation and enforcement of HR rules and regulations.
- Proper performance management and employee evaluation processes.
- Maintenance of a compliant productive and positive work environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience including a similar managerial role.
- Strong experience in employee relations recruitment and HR operations in Qatar.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HR management practices and Qatar Labour Law.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
