The Opportunity
Step into a high-impact role where your leadership truly drives results. As our Project Engineer youll take charge of a national term within our NBN Telecommunications division steering the seamless delivery of MDU work orders under the NBN Field Module contract.
Youll own the full lifecycle of deployment from scheduling and coordination through to completion while staying ahead of jeopardies meeting key performance targets and ensuring every task aligns with our contractual this role youll guide stakeholders with confident strategic insight and champion a culture of performance quality and continuous improvement across the program.

What Youll Be Doing
- Owning the scheduling actioning and timely closure of all work orders.
- Leading your team to consistently hit contractual KPIs and OPMs.
- Optimising field resource utilisation through smart planning and prioritisation.
- Ensuring Design and Survey packs are accurate and compliant with build standards.
- Tracking real-time performance and proactively mitigating risks.
- Upholding all processes procedures and HS&E requirements.
- Supporting incident management PIRs and contingency planning.
- Driving operational improvements enhancing systems and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
- Delivering clear professional responses to customer and stakeholder inquiries.
Could You Be Our Next Project Engineer
Were looking for a proactive solutions focused Project Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Youll bring:
- An engineering degree.
- Telecommunications experience - ideally with exposure to the NBN landscape.
- Solid understanding of schedule of rates and NBN build standards.
- Confident client-facing experience.
- Strong digital capability particularly with Power BI and Excel.
- A proven ability to manage high-volume workloads while meeting strict KPIs.
- Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to engage at all organisational levels.
- The ability to work independently adapt quickly to shifting priorities and deliver consistent results.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen.
