What you will do

Receive service calls from Service Resource Center including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercialindustrialand residential applications. These include but are not limited to wet (steel copper and CPVC) dry pre-actiondelugeand fire pumps.

How you will do it

• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals part manuals change notices and bulletins modification notices order todiagnose and repair equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints diagrams submittals specifications software/systems programsschematicsand operational product manuals.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service with strong organizational skills positive attitude and an ability to learn quickly.
• Must have the ability to work alone.

What we look for

• 7-10 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customerrequirements
• Overnight travel may berequired
• Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customerneeds
• Must adhere to implement and follow safety guidelines and procedures at alltimes
• Possess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets companyrequirements
• Follow verbal and writteninstructions
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet working within ducts crawl spaces above ceilings etc.
• Must be able to follow read and understand all safety requirement of the company and thecustomer

Preferred

• NICET Level II certification is aplus
• Backflow certification is an asset

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $24- $30 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experienceknowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with marketdata.)
