The primary duties of the Insurance Representative are to:
Answer incoming phone calls for all offices via Genesys and take messages or redirect as needed for further assistance.
Welcome office visitors and maintain active visitor log.
Sort and distribute incoming mail including scanning to Account Managers and/or attaching in Epic as needed and prepare outgoing mail for USPS/FedEx pick-up.
Route incoming faxes emails and open Activities in Epic to the appropriate Associate.
Act as the office contact for supply ordering through Workday building and equipment maintenance conference room availability etc.
Create and maintain an active Associate directory.
Support Account Manager administrative needs by assembling proposals pulling reports and policy documents from carrier websites issuing Auto ID cards running MVRs and other related tasks.
Use Activities in Epic to manage outstanding Account Manager/Producer requests.
Be familiar with Agency policies and procedures.
Perform other clerical and job-related duties as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:45am to 4:45pm EST.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
2-4 years of customer service experience in a professional office environment preferred.
Obtain Property & Casualty insurance license within one year of employment with the agency.
A superior customer service attitude and approach to business.
MS office suite skills (Word Outlook).
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and be cognizant of time sensitive activities and situations.
Reliable and present during scheduled business hours.
