Travel X-Ray Technologist Day Shift
Location: Providence RI
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 4x10 hours
Schedule: 8:00 AM 6:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across a wide range of patient populations including pediatric through geriatric patients while maintaining high standards of image quality safety and patient care.
Shift & Scheduling Details
Shift: Day 4x10-hour shifts
Hours: 08:00 AM 06:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
Total Weekend Shifts: 5 per contract
Block Scheduling: Not available
Orientation: All hours billable
Licensure & Certifications (Required)
ARRT (R) Active
Rhode Island State Radiology License Required
BLS Certification Required
Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience
First-time travelers accepted
No prior employment or travel assignments at this facility
Clinical Skills & Competencies
Adult acute care and outpatient imaging
Pediatric outpatient imaging
Bedside and portable radiography
Trauma imaging (including lower extremities)
C-Arm procedures
Isolation precautions
PACS proficiency
Imaging Procedures Include (but not limited to):
Chest abdomen (supine/upright/decubitus)
Spine: cervical thoracic lumbar
Pelvis and hips
Upper & lower extremities
Skull orbits
Joint imaging (shoulder elbow wrist knee ankle foot)
Fingers toes thumb

EMR/Charting System: Meditech
Dress Code
Scrubs: Any color choice permitted
Health & Safety Requirements
