KWS Italia SpA is looking for aStation Technician for our site in Monselice. This is a full-time permanent position.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Advise farmers or contractors responsible for managing agricultural activities such as soil preparation fertilization irrigation pest control the fields under your responsibility.
- General monitoring and supervision of production fields including all evaluations required by breeders.
- Plan organize and oversee activities carried out by employees under your responsibility.
- Handle harvesting and transplanting.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations as requested by Management for activities under your responsibility.
- Support ad hoc activities as and when requested by Management.
- Ensure that all operational activities are carried out and that staff under your responsibility work in compliance with the companys health and safety standards.
Key skills and required background:
- Residence in Monselice.
- Diploma or technical certificate in agriculture.
- At least 2 years of experience in agriculture preferably in seed production.
- Knowledge of MS Office programs.
- Valid driving license.
- Valid forklift license (or ability to obtain one).
- Good knowledge of Italian and preferably English.
