Responsibilities

As an Associate Financial Controller you will play a key role in supporting the Finance team in Copenhagen covering all Nordic markets with financial management and reporting activities. Working closely with the Finance and project teams youll ensure accurate financial control and provide insights that support strategic decision-making. You will report to our Finance Director.

  • Control a portfolio of Nordic real estate investments liaising with service providers for timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare financial reporting under local GAAP and IFRS including financial statements and management reports.
  • Implementand refines processes and procedures across thefinance function in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage debt agreements lender reporting and assist with property refinancing.
  • Act as a financial advisor to acquisitions and asset management teams.
  • Review and prepare analysis for senior management including monitoring investment cashflow and return projections.
  • Collaborate on annual business plans with the Asset Management team.
  • Oversee investment structures and participate in tax structuring for new investments with external advisors.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelors degree in business with a specialization in accountancy; accounting qualifications and basic tax understanding.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience ideally in real estate or fund management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to lead projects.
  • Highly structured organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
  • Fluent in Danish or Swedish and business English.
  • Experience in an international organization is an advantage.
