Idaho Power located in vibrant Boise Idaho is looking for a Regional System Operator or Senior to join our Power Supply team. Its an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. What does a Regional System Operator do for us
This individual creates and directs Issues switching orders involving the distribution system as it pertains to distribution and sub-transmission lines and substations to facilitate maintenance or restoration of power. The role requires using the Outage Management System (OMS) and SCADA to identify and resolve outages and service events. This individual maintains dispatching logs showing all switching and abnormal operating conditions of the distribution power system in our OMS model. Additionally they operate distribution and Sub Transmission substations using OMS and SCADA system.

This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment fine motor skills including typing on the computer dialing phones filing paper and working in close proximity to other people.
