About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists to play an important leadership role in the Outpatient Building as its Operational Manager both in terms of playing a leading role in planning for and helping to establish its operating principles and then in its day-to-day operational management once it opens.
This is a new role for Health NZ Southern. The postholder will help facilitate a successful opening and enduring operation of the facility. Bridging healthcare delivery and business management the OB Operational Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities which ensure effective functioning of the OB on a day-to-day basis.
Success in the role will be measured by efficient use of clinical workspaces; improved patient flow; adherence to budget and Health NZ policies and procedures; integration with other Southern health care providers and effective and efficient operation of our administration teams operating from the facility.
