Student Assistant – Program & Learner Support THRIVE (all genders)

With a comprehensive digital platform Kiron Campus we have supported over 100000 learners with skills essential for the labour market fostering academic professional and personal growth.

We are looking for a dedicated Student Assistant to join our Programs Team and support learners. You will contribute to the delivery ofTHRIVE Kirons tech upskilling program for women with forced migration backgrounds. The next edition will launch in 2026 and support 450 participants across Germany through a blended online format with self-paced learning tutoring and webinars. This role is ideal for aself-starterwho istech-savvy detail-oriented and passionateabout expanding educational access for underserved communities.

• Assist our Program Lead Flavia with day-to-day delivery of the THRIVE Program

• Draft and send learner communications (emails announcements campaign messages).

• Help plan and host online learner-facing events (e.g. tutoring sessions webinars info sessions)

• Provide general support to learners by responding to questions or directing them to resources.

• Upload and organize course materials in the Learning Management System (LMS).

• Implement new courses or modules within the LMS following provided guidelines

• Update existing content (documents videos assessments as requested by the team.

• Support basic quality checks to ensure materials are accessible accurate and up-to-date.

• Help plan and host online learner-facing events (e.g. tutoring sessions webinars info sessions)

• Provide general support to learners by responding to questions or directing them to resources.
  
  

• You have gained experience inonline program deliveryand developed an initial understanding of learning management systems (LMS)andlearner supportthrough your internships and current studies.
• You are enrolled as a student in a German university ideally as a Masters Student in the following programs: educational science learning/ instructional design media education or a related field.

• Confidence usingdigital tools(e.g. Canva LMS Gsuite Asana formatting and basic layout).

• FluentinEnglish(spoken and written).

• FluencyinGerman Arabic Turkish orUkrainianis an asset.

• Experience workingwitheducational platformsorcreating content

• Passionate about learning new topics and skills including technical skills for developing e-learning platforms and communication strategies

• Knowledge of refugee integration:Understanding of the education and refugee integration sectors particularly labor market integration

• NGO/Startup Spirit:You have worked in fast-paced mission-driven environments where adaptability and taking initiative were key to your success.
