Pay: $20$22 per hour (based on experience & credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
- Lead the 2-year-old classroom and ensure a warm developmentally appropriate learning space.
- Plan and deliver interactive play-based lessons aligned with developmental milestones.
- Encourage emerging language motor skills social-emotional growth and early independence.
- Work collaboratively with assistant teachers to maintain a consistent safe and organized classroom.
- Communicate daily with families regarding routines progress and classroom activities.
- Follow all NYC DOHMH licensing and health/safety requirements.
- BA or AA in Early Childhood Education
- CDA (Child Development Associate)
- Currently working toward an ECE degree or CDA
- Minimum 6 months of toddler classroom experience (1 year preferred)
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR/First Aid preferred
- Must meet NYC/DOHMH childcare licensing guidelines
