Production Supervisor 2nd shift, Amazon Leo

The Leo team is looking for a motivated customer-focused individual who wants to join our team as a Production Supervisor. This role will be responsible for managing warehouse associates in functional areas such as material receipt picking kitting or material delivery. This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from production co-ordination and execution labor planning to strategic projects to new system development to supporting the customers that depend on our services.

Key job responsibilities
- Hire support mentor and motivate your hourly workforce promoting a culture of inclusion innovation and performance.
- Manage safety quality productivity and customer delivery promises.
- Supervise a team of technicians focused on early production and scaling output.
- Work with Senior Manager to plan and coordinate daily tasks for technicians and activities of all operations with an ability to adapt to changing schedules and other dynamic priorities.
- Work cross-functionally with management facilities and supply chain to maintain operations and materials for an ISO 7/8 cleanroom.
- Ability to provide timely feedback on designs processes and custom equipment used in routine prototyping fabrication and characterization.
- Author maintain and train others to all relevant process documentation including Assembly Inspection Testing/In-Process Characterization and Packaging Procedures.
- Review and approve rework to ensure accuracy and enforce traceability.
- Comply with all Company Policies including Health Safety and Environmental Regulations Personal Protective Equipment Requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.

- 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience or Bachelors degree in management business administration economics engineering marketing
- 2 years of direct management experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science engineering mathematics or equivalent or experience in SAP S/4HANA SAP Cloud Platform SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays

- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word SharePoint and PowerPoint)
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities or experience in managing and troublshooting network
- Experience coaching and mentoring at the management level
- Experience in a fast-paced high-tech company or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
- 3 years of demonstrating safety standards experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $100000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
