TheBrackett Elementary School is looking for a substitute music teacher fromlate Marchthroughthe end of school year in June 2026.
The substitute will work collaboratively in a team of highly motivated and dedicatedBrackett School and K-12 Performing Arts Department educators.
The successful candidate exhibits dynamic interpersonal skills to motivate and engage students and can maintain and enhance enthusiastic engagement in music-making in a safe supportive and student-centered environment. A strong background in the major elementary classroom music methodologies (First Steps) singing and elementary level repertoire and materials is preferred. Responsibilities of the position include teaching general music classes for students in grades K-5 and leading a before school chrous once a week.
