POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of one of the Quality Engineers or Quality Manager this position will assist on providing Quality Departmental services on any number of activities. These may include Quality audits part identification part inspections developing work instructions Excel spreadsheets process improvements and process controls.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with production lines to developing/ updating work instructions to correct known Quality issues.
- Investigate root causes of Quality related customer complaints. Identify locate or inspect material as issues arise.
- This position will work closely with a current Quality Engineers to understand Gardner Denver Inc. processes and systems.
- Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Actively working towards some form of industrial related Engineering degree.
- People-oriented needs to be able to work with employees working in the shop as well as the management team.
- Skilled at all applications of Microsoft Office and experience in AutoCAD is preferred.
- Self motivated with good organizational skills.
- A sound problem solver with good decision making skills.
- Interested in working in a manufacturing environment.
