Excellent communication skills organization and planning and interpersonal skills especially in the areas of collaboration problem solving and decision making. Ability to work without close supervision meet deadlines handle confidential information in a professional manner manage multiple priorities and constituents think and plan strategically develop and implement effective solutions to problems and work effectively with a variety of constituents including students faculty staff and governmental agencies. Experience in data tools management analysis planning and reporting. Ability to make prioritized recommendations based on interpretation of data resource investment and budget projections. Demonstrated ability to build consensus and positive relationships based on trust and communication. Demonstrated record of success in developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with groups at various levels including universities and external partners. An effective and collaborative leadership style that incorporates organizational analytical and decision-making skills. Strong change management project management and team building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in collective bargaining environments preferred. Experience with grants or soliciting donations preferred. Previous experience leading regional institutional libraries with a preference for experience leading multi-campus libraries.
