Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting standards.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
The Senior Cost Accountant will play a pivotal role in analyzing and managing costs across various departments. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize budgeting processes and financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and analyzing cost reports to identify trends and variances.
Developing and maintaining cost allocation methodologies.
Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Conducting audits of cost data and identifying areas for improvement.
