Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a Medical-Surgical travel assignment in a large hospital setting. The LPN will manage an independent patient assignment with the support of a Registered Nurse and provide high-quality bedside care in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment.
Scheduling & Contract Details
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3 shifts per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: As needed
Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)
Charting System: EPIC
Block Scheduling: Not available
Required Licensure & Certifications
Active New York State LPN/LVN License
Pending licenses not accepted
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum recent hospital experience within the last 2 years
Ability to manage own patient assignment with RN support
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care setting
