Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM. It may be necessary given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located at 2401 Faraway Drive Columbia South Carolina.
What You Will Do:
Provides leadership for strategic/business development of the electronic data interchange channel including directional recommendations and strategic business alignment.
Directs the development/design & maintenance of commercial electronic data interchange transactions electronic claims eligibility and claims status transactions etc. Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal HIPAA mandates. Implements new & upgraded electronic transactions so that negative impact to operations across lines of business are minimized. Manages transition of stakeholders to new processes.
Manages trading partner and business associate agreements. Links superior market knowledge with the companys capabilities to develop strategic initiatives and trading partner/vendor relationships to support business goals.
Develops and maintains operational and project budgets with appropriate reporting.
To Qualify for This Position Youll Need the Following:
Required Education: Bachelors in a job-related field
Required Work Experience: 8 years of related technical operations customer service healthcare or project management experience including either 3 years of management experience OR 3 years of equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.
