Job Description:
The Operations Associate position is a bargaining represented position and is responsible for all aspects of cable/harness assembly to support electronic cabinets assembly and/or electro-mechanical assemblies. Typical duties may include cable/harness assembly hand soldering mechanical assembly inspection electronic console assembly electronic system assembly point-to-point wiring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to read understand and interpret electronic and mechanical diagrams and assembly instructions.
- Able to obtain IPC-620 and/or J Standard 001 certifications
- Demonstrated aptitude for cable/harness mechanical assembly
- Ability to tolerate exposure to solder paste flux and solder fumes.
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot wire issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in mechanical assembly hand soldering and self-inspection
- IPC-610 certifications
- One (1) or more years of experience in high tech electronics environment
- One (1) or more years of experience in manufacturing
- Completion of a certified technical school training
- Familiar with building rack/cabinet/console assembly.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary for this role is $25.57. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
