Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Day Shift
Location: Columbia SC 29203
Schedule: Day Shift 3x12-hour shifts
Hours: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Orientation: 16 hours
Block Scheduling: Not available
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a day-shift contract in Columbia South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ENT Plastics and Pediatric surgical cases and thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for surgical patients
Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures
Demonstrate strong competency in ENT Plastic Surgery and Pediatric cases
Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
Collaborate effectively with surgeons anesthesia providers and surgical teams
Accurately document care in accordance with facility protocols
Call Requirements
34 call shifts per 6-week schedule
One call shift will be on a weekend
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
AHA BLS certification (required)
Strong experience in ENT Plastics and Pediatrics (required)
Ability to pass a medical competency test
Previous OR experience in a high-acuity setting
Vaccination Requirements (Facility Guidelines)
COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
Flu Vaccine: Required (No exemptions)
