Hybrid: This internship is categorized ashybrid. The selected intern is expected to report to the office up to three times per week or asdeterminedby the team.

About the Team:

TheProduction MappingSoftware Team plays a pivotal role in the software development ofmapping solutions to support AV/ADASat General Motors. This teamis responsible fordelivering integrated and tested software for various GM features including Super CruiseandAdaptive Cruise Control.

About The Role:

This role will be working on software forGMProduction MappingSoftware team.Areas of focus may include implementing testing and/orintegrationembeddedor testsoftware.

WhatYoullDo:

Architect design implementintegrateand test robust embedded software solutions for ADAS systems. This includes the following:

Write andmaintaincode in C orPython

Analyze and improve reliability and efficiency.

Create andmaintaintechnical documentation

Perform unit testing integration testing and system testing.

Required Qualification:

Currently enrolled in a full-time degree-seeking program andin the process of obtainingaBachelors or Mastersdegree in computer science or a related field.

Able to workfulltime40 hoursper week.

C or Python software skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Embedded software experience/knowledge

Intent to return todegree-programafter the completion of the internship.

Graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.

Compensation:

The monthly salary range for this role is $7300 $7800 per month

GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2026 Student Program.
