Job Summary

Profile Summary

The Associate in the Client & Capital Strategy team within Central Portfolio Management supports the team in analysing client and portfolio profitability preparing client plans and maintaining dashboards. The role involves producing accurate data and reports for deal approval processes assisting with account planning and coordinating documentation for senior management. It requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with Front Office and internal stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will:

  • Support client and capital initiatives across EMEA by preparing analysis and materials for Deal Approval Committees Account Planning Sector and Country reviews floor and target rate setting and Non-Core portfolio reviews.
  • Assist in producing Client Plans and profitability models in collaboration with Front Office (FO) for use in deal approval processes including originate to distribute analysis
  • Perform data gathering and preliminary analysis on client and deal profitability to inform decision-making by senior team members.
  • Contribute to portfolio profitability reviews by compiling data running standard reports and highlighting key trends for the CPM team and FO.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics and documentation including compiling and distributing deal approval minutes tracking action points and updating status reports for senior management.
  • Work with CPM Client Analytics team and FO to maintain and update client and portfolio dashboards ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Support the monitoring and reporting of originate-to-distribute transactions ensuring alignment with risk appetite capital efficiency and client strategy.

Qualifications Skills and Experience

  • 24 years of experience in banking or financial services ideally in a role involving analysis or portfolio management.
  • Degree-level education in a relevant discipline such as finance accounting economics or mathematics.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and work with financial models under guidance.
  • Basic understanding of banking products and financial markets with willingness to develop knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication skills including the ability to prepare clear reports and presentation materials.
  • Proficient Excel skills including data manipulation and use of formulas; familiarity with other analytical tools is an advantage.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
