Job Summary

Duties/Responsibilities

Attend and assist the varsity coach with conducting daily workouts and practices
Assist the varsity coach with the supervision and instruction of student-athletes during all team activities
Assist the varsity coach with the preparation of the soccer facility for all home meets
Promote balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes
Communicate effectively with parents students and school administrators
Motivate athletes
Assist the varsity coach and the school system in building the soccer program and plan for its future

Qualifications

CPR / First Aid Training Fundamentals of Coaching Training Health and Safety for Coaches and Concussion Training preferred
Complete orientation through human resources including fingerprinting and background checks
Within three years of hiring successful completion of the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) course and test entitled Basic Virginia High School League Course accessible at be completed.
