Position Overview

Madera Community Hospital is seekingBoard Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physiciansto join our Emergency Department team. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering timely evidence-based emergency care while contributing to departmental growth quality improvement initiatives and a culture of excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages
  • Rapidly assess diagnose and manage acute illnesses and traumatic injuries
  • Collaborate closely with on-call specialists hospitalists nursing staff and ancillary teams
  • Participate in Emergency Department quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics
  • Engage in shared shift coverage including nights weekends and holidays as required
  • Maintain accurate timely and thorough clinical documentation


Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
  • Active California medical license or eligibility
  • Strong commitment to mission-driven community-focused care
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a high-acuity environment
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
