Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $19.00-$25.00 per hour. Compensation is based on your unique qualifications and experience.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager the Warehouse Assistant is responsible for various tasks to support the daily operations of a warehouse ensuring smooth & efficient warehouse processes.

Responsibilities and Duties

Daily cleaning and organizing of warehouse and inventory/equipment.
Manage inventory by keeping track of stock levels and ensuring accurate inventory records.
Perform tasks that require specialized training or skills.
Order fulfillment: picking packing & preparing orders for shipment.
Ensure the warehouse is clean safe and ready for the companys needs.
Load unload and identify site materials machinery and tools and distribute them to the appropriate locations in the warehouse to ensure they are easy to find when needed.
Practice and ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Operate machinery to lift organize & pull inventory for distribution.
Follow safety protocols while using equipment.
Handling incoming and outgoing shipments including inspecting and documenting goods as they arrive andleave.
Take directions from the Warehouse Manager and act accordingly.
Willingness to learn from more experienced crafters to become more proficient and knowledgeable.
Reading and understanding basic measurements.
Assists in creating a positive and safe work environment.
Be coachable and learn from team members.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Valid drivers license.
Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
Warehouse experience.

Skills and Abilities

Demonstrate the ability to finish tasks safely accurately and promptly.
Knowledge of standard hand and power tools and how to use them safely and correctly.
Ability to read and understand basic measurements.
Ability to solve problems.
Able to relay and receive information from the Warehouse Manager needed for the current project/task.
Strong work ethic.
Good attitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and the ability to advance.
Demonstrate the ability to stay on task efficiently safely and flexibly.
Complete assigned training in a timely fashion.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.
Must be able to ascend and descend ladders stairs & work in proximity to loud equipment.
Must be able to work in warehousing conditions often hot or cold working environment on extreme weather days.
Must be able to wear the required personal protective equipment most of the day.
Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally.
Must be able to work for long periods of time while standing.
