The leadership opportunity

Were offering an incredible opportunity for a talented individual to lead the data engineering functions that support our AWM Analytics teams to deliver client outcomes at scale.

What this role involves

You are a technical leader who owns delivery outcomes for multiple teams (typically 46). You ensure excellence in technical design and solutions drive crossteam collaboration practice strong stakeholder management empower/coach/challenge crew evolve work practices to leverage Generative AI and emerging tech and ensure tight alignment to product priorities.

Core responsibilities:

Lead & grow a 1520 person data engineering function: set the bar for engineering excellence; hire develop and retain top talent.
Own delivery outcomes: plan and sequence work across teams; remove impediments; uphold SLAs for data products/pipelines that power AWM Analytics.
Leverage Generative AI and other technologies to boost engineer productivity and dataproduct quality (e.g. code assistants test generation common frameworks).
Partner across the enterprise (AWMT Architecture Office CDAO PI Tech) to advance data engineering maturity evolve our tech stack and align to architecture roadmaps.
Elevate team culture: create an energizing missionoriented environment.

Qualifications

10 years in data engineering (or adjacent) including experience leading multiteam technical delivery.
Demonstrated experience scaling data products/pipelines on a cloudnative stack.
Strong grounding in DataOps (observability CI/CD testing quality/lineage) and FinOps (cost modeling governance).
Executiveready stakeholder management; ability to translate complex technical tradeoffs into business outcomes.
Domain knowledge in advice wealth management and investor data preferred.
