Secondary School Psychologist Assessment & Intervention Focus

Full-time assignment for the remainder of the school year
Our organization is seeking a full-time School Psychologist to join a supportive and collaborative secondary school team for the remainder of the academic year. This role serves middle and high school students in a diverse learning environment and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic performance behavior and social-emotional well-being.
As the School Psychologist will also play an active role in strengthening school-wide practices by leading professional development sessions and family workshops focused on academic achievement behavior support and social-emotional growth. Through collaboration and targeted interventions you will help promote positive outcomes across the school community.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological services to students in grades 612.
- Facilitate workshops and informational sessions for families.
- Design and deliver professional development for school staff.
- Use assessment data to guide interventions and decision-making.
- Support IEP development implementation and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with teachers administrators and related service providers.
Requirements
- NASP certification preferred but not required.
- Valid School Psychologist license issued by the Illinois Board of Psychology.
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology Educational Psychology or a related discipline.
