Your work tasks
The successful candidates will join the Antennas Propagation and Millimetre-Wave Systems section contributing to research on compact multiband and high-gain antenna solutions for space-constrained satellite platforms. The work includes the investigation of antennas with shared-aperture multiband configurations mechanical steering mechanisms and antennamechanical co-design approaches enabling wide-angle scanning with high efficiency. We expect the candidates to assist supervising junior PhD students in the research group and help prepare research proposal applications.
Your competencies
We expect the candidates will have some or all of the following competencies:
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with radiating component development from initial concept to prototype validation.
Familiarity with satellite communication system requirements including link budgets beam steering and orbital pointing dynamics.
Experience with optimization methods and physics-informed machine learning.
A strong publication record in antennas computational electromagnetics electromagnetic field exposure liquid crystal-based components or AI-based EM modelling.
